The README is reduced to a description, status, install, a quick start, the documentation and parity section, the citation of the GECKO protocol and the licence. The pinned versions, the count of exported names and the on-disk format section are removed; the format section is replaced by a link to
docs/yaml_format.md. The README shows the GECKO logo fromimg/, loaded by absolute URL so that PyPI renders it.
